Amazon introduces its new tablet, the Kindle Fire HDX - 01net

Another feature of the new Kindle is that Amazon has chosen to operate in a proprietary OS by the name of Fire OS, designed on the basis of Android 4.2. It “introduces hundreds of new features and changes, exclusive Amazon services, software updates and more» says Amazon in its statement.
