Amazon launches Kindle Unlimited in France – Le Figaro

The site will launch in France Amazon.fr its new subscription service “Kindle Unlimited” offers customers unlimited access to a wide selection of digital books for 9.99 euros per month.

Some 700,000 e-books are available, including “more than 20,000 books in French as well as a wide selection of foreign books including many bestsellers in English,” the giant US online sales on its site.

The launch of the “Netflix of reading” is accompanied by a promotion to 0.99 euros for the first month. This offer includes novels, children’s literature, practical works and some exclusives. It includes such great sagas like “Harry Potter”.

The securities concerned are accessible from Thursday on all the free Kindle reading applications and on all Kindle devices. This subscription service has already been launched in the US, and in October, the US group announced the arrival of its “Kindle Unlimited” in Germany, the opening day of the Frankfurt Book Fair.
