Amazon expands to the whole world its Kindle edition Scout program – RTBF

The US giant Amazon online distribution announced Wednesday it was expanding its ebooks books publishing program selected based on votes of online titled Kindle Scout, and he now opened authors around the world.

This program allows authors to submit manuscripts, exclusively in English, which can be published as an electronic book for Amazon Kindle Press. This possibility was open far as authors in the United States.

“Now, in addition to American authors, others based in Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, India and other countries can submit their writings, the size of a new, English, and we will study the possibility of publishing, “said Amazon in a statement.

This initiative enables readers to read passages of proposed manuscripts and to choose which they would like to see published in full.

So far, 75 titles were selected for publication by Press Kindle, according to Amazon. The authors receive 1,500 dollars in advance and 50% of revenues generated from the sales of their ebook.
