Unlimited Kindle, Amazon’s subscription service for reading digital and unlimited has been launched in Spain and Italy.
After the USA, Britain and Germany. Amazon continues its ascent offering 700,000 digital books for Spanish and Italian.
However, it is interesting to note that Amazon communicates the thousands of books in English, addressing the Spanish … The multinational has apparently not yet really convinced the editors of these two countries.
France absent
Generally, the firm Jeff Bezos makes the launch of new services by stratum: The US and the UK market, and eventually DE, once the service is installed, it is the other markets that are included in the offer: Spain, Italy and France.
And for once, France is not mentioned, it seems that Amazon has some trouble convincing French publishers to integrate their catalogs ebooks in supply and Amazon could not possibly offer readers a French catalog full of titles in English.
It could also be that the US giant decides to treat France apart by shifting the launch of Unlimited Kindle for Christmas season, but it seems unlikely according to our sources.
