Amazon few months after landing in China with its Kindle range and shop equipped with 40,000 titles available in local languages, a competitor has just started in the ebook reader market. The Tianyibook, also known as the e-reader Skytel name, marketed by China Telecom is the same price as the Paperwhite the American giant, but has a rich library of over 300,000 references.
Tianyibook has a six-inch touch screen with a resolution of 600 × 800 pixels. 256 MB of RAM and a relatively low 600 MHz processor. The device runs on Android and allows you to play a variety of formats, including EPUB, PDF, PRC, MOBI, PDF, FB2. The ebook store will target the local market with a catalog of songs in Mandarin and Cantonese. (Via Good E Reader )
