Without warning or telling anyone, Amazon began marketing a new model of Kindle Paperwhite, one of the best e-readers on the market.
There is nothing revolutionary: the device retains its 6-inch screen backlit which made its success, its processor 25% faster than previous generations. The functions are identical, intelligent search interactive vocabulary. Even the price (129 euros) has not moved. So
Amazon has just doubled the available storage. 2GB or 1,000 digital books, the Kindle Paperwhite is increased to 4 GB. But that does not make it a “ new product ,” says the dealer. It is therefore not a new generation, one might think, would have been a real presentation.
The device is currently being deployed around the world, even if it seems that in France, we are still in the 2013 release.
